The Clean Energy Partnership at the Long Night of Sciences
The Clean Energy Partnership hydrogen station opened in May at the public TOTAL fuelling station on Holzmarktstrasse, Berlin was part of the 10th Long Night of Sciences.
Guided tours of Europe’s most state-of-the-art fuelling station showed the range of possible applications of hydrogen as a carbon-neutral energy source.
Many visitors were also given personal tours so that questions could be answered individually. "How does the electrolyser actually work and where does the electricity for the fuelling station come from?" Descriptive graphics affixed to the fuelling station’s technical highlights provide a quick and comprehensive overview and explain correlations. CEP’s new mobile model also offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of technology.
Things got international at the hydrogen fuelling station between 19:30 and 20:00: representatives from the embassies of ten different countries came to learn more about the CEP and the latest technology in the hydrogen sector.
