Hydrogen gets you moving - Opening of Holzmarktstrasse, Berlin // CEP hydrogen rally // Welcome ceremony in Hamburg

A hydrogen rally for journalists on 12 May from Berlin to Hamburg via Stolpe has brought this claim to life. Eleven CEP* hydrogen cars were linking the infrastructure stations of Berlin, Stolpe and Hamburg. The launch of the rally highlighted the opening of the latest CEP hydrogen fuelling station at Holzmarktstrasse, Berlin by our partners TOTAL, Statoil and Linde - an important milestone in the expansion of Germany’s hydrogen infrastructure.

A good 300 km later Senator for Science and Research Dr. Herlind Gundelach was welcoming the fleet in Hamburg HafenCity, together with CEP partners HOCHBAHN, Vattenfall and Daimler AG. This year Vattenfall starts construction on Europe's largest hydrogen fuelling station here in HafenCity – another milestone in the development of a hydrogen infrastructure.
